Terms and conditions
 

In order to ensure that your session is fun, relaxed and exactly what you are expecting these terms and conditions outline the arrangements between you and Afton Fife Photography (We/Us/Our) for your photo session, delivery of your gallery, and purchased  products.

 

Your booking

  1. Your booking (date and time) is secured upon payment of the non-refundable Session Fee.

  2. The Session Fee includes up to six people. Each additional person attracts a fee of $30 per person unless otherwise arranged.

  3. You acknowledge that you have read the details outlined on www.aftonfifephotography.com.au  regarding pricing, including the minimum spend of $500 per photo session in addition to your Session Fee. Acknowledgement of this if confirmed via payment of the Session Fee.

  4. Any prints or products included in the Session Fee will only be provided once the the final purchase is made.

  5. Photo sessions are held in the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Lower North Shore of Sydney unless an alternative location has been specifically agreed.

 

Rescheduling your session

  1. In the event that you need to reschedule your session due to illness or other event beyond your control please:

    1. provide us with at least 24 hours notice, and

    2. reschedule your session for a date within 12 months of the cancelled session.

  2. Unfortunately, we may need to reschedule your session in the event of poor weather conditions (for example, rain) or other unforeseeable events. If your session does have to be rescheduled we will, where possible:

    1. provide you with at least 24 hours notice, and

    2. reschedule your session for a date within 6 months of the cancelled session.

Your gallery

  1. A link to your online gallery, comprising 25 to 30 edited images, will be sent to you within four weeks of your session.

  2. Your gallery will be deactivated after seven days.

  3. We are happy to reactivate your gallery for an additional seven days for free but any further reactivations will attract a fee of $50.

  4. The images in your gallery have been selected, edited and retouched for the optimal result. No further editing will be undertaken beyond resizing your photos for the fulfilment of a product order.

 

Products

  1. Products, including prints and digital images, can be ordered online through the gallery portal. Where products are sourced from external suppliers, orders will not be placed with these suppliers until we have received your payment in full.

  2.  While every effort is made to ensure your purchased products are delivered to you as quickly as possible, you acknowledge that there may be events outside our control which delay delivery and that we will not be held responsible for this.
     

Storage

  1. Purchased images will be stored by us for a period of 12 months from the date of your photo session. After this time we reserve the right to delete your images from our storage system. You may order further prints and products until that date only.

 

Copyright and use of images

  1. Prior to your session you will be asked to sign a model release which will grant us, our agents and assigns:

    1. the unrestricted right and permission to copyright of all the photographs taken

    2. permission to use the photographs for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website, social media, competition or any publication or article in promotion of our business.

    3. If you choose to purchase the digital image you are granted authorisation to obtain unlimited reprints for personal use only. The photographs provided may not be sold, edited, altered (other than resizing for print) or used for any commercial purpose under any circumstances, without written permission

  2. You are welcome to use watermarked low resolution images on social media sites. Please note that altering the image in any way, including cropping out our watermark is a breach of copyright.
